Keep every table value visible
A saved DataFrame can be much wider than a sheet of paper. Shrinking hundreds of columns onto one page makes the values unusable. This publisher partitions columns into numbered panels while retaining source row order and wraps long values inside cells. A row that is taller than a page continues in the next page segment.
The output cannot recover table rows that the notebook itself replaced with an ellipsis before saving. If your DataFrame display says it is truncated, export the full data in your notebook first. The publication limits are bounded: 200 columns, 100,000 cells per table and at most 200 PDF pages. An over-limit export fails rather than silently dropping the tail.
Compare mathematical structure
Supported equations are parsed with bounded KaTeX options and displayed as MathML in HTML. PDF uses a local layout for common fraction rules, roots, superscripts, subscripts, limits and matrices. These are generated equation structures rather than screenshots of the whole page.
Complex notation can use a construct the PDF layout does not support. In that case the PDF retains literal TeX and records the difference. Mathematics inside table values remains source text. Check a representative fraction, a sum with limits and a long expression in the downloaded PDF rather than assuming every TeX package is available.
Choose the output that retains the needed language
The embedded PDF font covers common Latin, Greek and Cyrillic text. When a character is absent, the PDF writes its Unicode code-point marker and lists the missing characters. This makes a missing CJK glyph visible instead of quietly replacing it with an empty box. HTML retains the original Unicode text for the browser to render with installed fonts.
PDF does not perform bidirectional paragraph layout for right-to-left scripts. Prefer the HTML output for such material and inspect its reading order. Neither output promises exact typography across all devices. For a required publication template, use the exported content as a reviewed source and finish the typesetting in a tool designed for that template.
