IPYNB to PDF and HTML — publish saved notebook results
Convert a Jupyter notebook to a real PDF and self-contained HTML. Select cells, retain saved tables and images, and review an explicit export manifest. Files stay in your browser.
Notebook Publisher
Make a portable report from saved notebook cells. Preview, choose what to share, and download PDF plus HTML without running code or signing in.
Supported scope: nbformat 4 · 20 MiB · 300 cells · 200 PDF pages · PNG/JPEG up to 8 MiB and 16 megapixels each · 80 images / 40 megapixels combined · 200 table columns and 100,000 cells per table. No interactive widgets, SVG, code execution or external resources. PDF font: Latin/Greek/Cyrillic coverage; unsupported characters become explicit Unicode markers, while HTML retains the original text.

Does this run my Python or R code?
No. It exports source and outputs already saved inside the .ipynb file. Run the notebook in your own trusted environment and save it first if the results are missing. The downloadable example is valid notebook content; publishing it does not execute it.
Is the PDF a real download or a browser print dialog?
It is a generated PDF file with selectable text, embedded saved PNG/JPEG images, explicit page numbers and paginated tables. A separate HTML file is also provided. No print dialog is needed for the PDF download.
What happens to interactive charts and widgets?
They are not executed. A saved PNG/JPEG, HTML table or text alternative is used when present. Otherwise the output is visibly omitted and listed in the manifest. This converter cannot invent a screenshot for an unsaved interactive result.
Are mathematics and international text preserved?
HTML uses supported KaTeX MathML and retains Unicode text. PDF draws common fractions, roots, scripts, sums and matrices with the embedded font. Unsupported math stays as TeX source with a note. Missing font characters become explicit [U+...] markers. PDF bidirectional layout is not supported; review RTL content in HTML.
How are wide or long tables handled?
PDF splits wide tables into numbered column panels and wraps each cell value. Very tall rows can continue onto the next page. HTML retains a scrollable table. Original merged-cell geometry and styling are normalized. Export stops with an actionable error if it would exceed 200 pages.
Can I safely share the converted report?
Review it first. Code, saved outputs, local file paths, personal data or credentials may already be present in your notebook. Hide source code or exclude cells as needed. The tool does not automatically identify every secret. Neither the notebook nor the export content is sent to an external converter.
Sources & assumptions
Formats, algorithms and supported features are documented below. Check the stated scope and inspect your output before using it.
- Jupyter notebook format ↗
Version 4 cells, multiline source strings, saved MIME outputs and attachments.
- KaTeX options ↗
Bounded math expansion with trust disabled; MathML output for supported saved equations.
- pdf-lib font support ↗
Embedded font character sets and text measurements for real PDF pagination.
- Jupyter notebook trust ↗
Untrusted rich outputs require care; this publisher never runs notebook code or active HTML.
